BRIGADE A Novel by Claude-Rober Policart. - "Get off your high horse, Sao Aubin." Captain Bellows sourly locked eyes with captain Sao Aubin.
- "Let me tell you something about that sergeant Ethioschrist. After the war, sgt. Ethioschrist was assigned to my unit. There was a dispute between the rebels in Georgia and Union Russia. One of the rebels jumped out of the crowd and took a jab at me. Sgt. Ethioschrist jumped in between me and the rebel and took the hit for me." Captain Sao Aubin spat at the patch of dirt between captain Bellows boots and continued. "A hero, a real hero isn't afraid to sacrifice his life for another. A hero doesn't follow a book of laws or some guide. He follows his heart. That's the type of soldier that I want working for me, a soldier that I know I can trust without fail. So, if you don't want him, transfer him to my unit."
- "The cogger's a loose cannon. You want to risk your home? your rank? for some per diem cogger that's a poster child for psych services?"
